YEAH!!!!!!!
And the best thing about yesterday's vote is that each won by margins that are "steal proof". (In other words, Democrats can't pull an 'Al Franken' or a 'Christine Gregoire' and steal the election!) So even though America hasn't fully woken up yet, at least she is starting to open an eye.

ReplyDeleteAt least for now they have the clarity to understand that a same-sex marriage is not the equivalent of a traditional marriage.
I think that this is already acknowledged with civil unions and such. The fact that they want literally more than their fair share from a tradition that never included them in the first place.
The fact is that true equality is a myth, if this is the case, I want to park in handicapped spots, or just eliminate them, and I want a senior citizens discount too. Literally the majority has to bear the burden of the abnormal few.
Anywho:
No rights were taken away from this election.
I do believe that civil unions still stand.
And the election was fair and the people of maine have spoken.
I'm sure gays will cry about it, but for the most part they will survive.
Excellent point about handicapped parking spaces and senior citizen discounts. If I were like a gay bigot, I'd scream INEQUALITY!!!!
